Nexus Partnership Initiative (NPI) is an independent, neutral, non-governmental and nonprofit organisation headquartered in Juba, Central Equatoria State, South Sudan. The organisation is officially registered by the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission under the NGO Act 2016 with registration number 6205 (2025).
NPI was founded in 2020 by a group of educated, dynamic, and humanitarian-experienced young women and men who came together to address the urgent needs of vulnerable communities across South Sudan related to climate change, conflict and socioeconomic issues.
Their motivation is to create a national, community-driven organisation capable of delivering protection, peacebuilding, resilience, adaptive technology, education, climate-action-oriented youth engagement, sustainable programming and livelihood services across multiple states.
A growing presence across South Sudan
Since its inception, NPI has expanded its presence and now works in Unity State, Jonglei State, Upper Nile State, Eastern Equatoria State and Central Equatoria State. The organisation implements a wide range of interventions including:

Youth peacebuilding and community dialogues

Mission
To enhance community systems by promoting accessible protection services, peacebuilding initiatives, education opportunities, economic empowerment and community resilience—enabling women, youth and men to become self-reliant and active contributors to South Sudanese society.

A self-reliant, peaceful and empowered South Sudan where women, boys, girls, youth and vulnerable populations have the capacity, education, protection and opportunities to lead sustainably.
Strategic Goal
To strengthen the living standards and resilience of vulnerable populations in South Sudan—especially women, children, persons with specific needs and youth—through protection services, capacity building, peacebuilding, livelihoods support and community-driven development initiatives.
